Optional Coverage:
TRANSMISSION AND REAR AXLE COVERAGE
Transmission Coverage – All internal lubricated parts of the manual or automatic transmissions, including: torque converter, oil pump, valve body, governor, bands, drums, planetaries, sun gear, sprag(s), shaft(s), bearings and related bushings, shift rail, forks and synchronizers. The transmission case is only covered in conjunction with a failed covered part.
Rear Axle Coverage – All internal lubricated parts including: output shaft, bearings, bushings, gear sets, axle and bearings, carrier, ring and pinion gears, bearings, bushings, axle shaft. The drive axle housing is only covered if damaged by a failed covered part.
AUXILIARY POWER UNIT (APU)
If this Optional Coverage is selected on the Contract Registration Page, Coverage is for the entire term of the Contract and includes – Internally lubricated hard parts. Camshaft and cam bearings, cam followers, connecting rods, connecting rod bearings, constant velocity valve, crankshaft, hydraulic lifters, intake and exhaust valves and guides, injectors, main bearings, oil pan, oil pump gears, oil pump housing, oil pump pick up screen, oil pump pick up tube, oil pump pressure relief springs and valves, pistons, piston rings and piston oil cooling jets, push rods, rocker arm shafts, rocker arms, thrust washers, timing chain and gears, timing chain tensioners, timing gear cover, valve cover, valve keepers(locks), valve retainers, valve springs, wrist pins, water pump. Required seals, gaskets and fluids needed to complete a covered repair; associated state and local taxes when applicable by state law.
CLIMATE PLUS PACKAGE
Alternator, charge air cooler, engine air compressor, fan clutch, fuel tanks, cap and valve, HVAC air compressor and pulley, HVAC blower motor and resistor, HVAC fan hub, HVAC heater core, HVAC temperature controls, control head and control valves, radiator and radiator cup, factory radio, starter and starter solenoid.
TOWING & DOWNTIME COVERAGE
TOWING REIMBURSEMENT: In the event Your Vehicle is disabled and unable to continue under its own power You must contact a towing company of Your choosing and arrange delivery to a repair shop of Your choosing. We will reimburse You up to $500.00 worth of towing, per occurrence. Any additional cost will be Your responsibility. Full payment may be expected by You to the Tow Provider at the time service is rendered. Submit receipts to claims@saspros.com. (888) 668-4360. COVERAGE LIMITS: You will be reimbursed for towing expenses up to a maximum of $500 per occurrence. No more than one occurrence is eligible for coverage within a 72-hour period. Maximum limit of liability for this benefit is 3 occurrences per contract term. EXCESSIVE DOWNTIME COVERAGE: If a Registered Vehicle suffers a covered Major Mechanical Breakdown, the Administrator may pay the Registered Owner $300.00 per day (8 hours of Labor = 1 day), for up to 5 business days while the Registered Vehicle is being repaired in a repair facility. Downtime benefit may not exceed the amount of the claim. Benefit under this Excessive Downtime Coverage may not exceed $1,500.00 per occurrence or a maximum 3 occurrences for the life of the contract term. The Registered Owner will not be eligible for Excessive Downtime Coverage for the first 5 business days from the date in which the Administrator receives the repair estimate. The eligibility period for Excessive Downtime Coverage begins on the 6th day after the Administrator receives the repair estimate. Repair facility must advise of any parts delay at time of approval issue. Should the repair facility fail to give notice of part delay being more than 3 days to the Administrator by the required deadline, the Administrator shall not be responsible for any payment of this coverage. In the event the Registered Owner wishes to make a claim for this Excessive Downtime Coverage, the Registered Owner shall give notice to the Administrator, in writing, within twenty-one (21) days of the Administrator receiving the repair order. Should the Registered Owner fail to give notice of claim to the Administrator by the required deadline, the Administrator shall not be responsible for any payment of this coverage. In the written notice of claim, the Registered Owner shall provide details of the occurrence including Registered Owner’s name, address, contract number and original repair shop invoice. Any alterations on invoices, receipts or other documents for service shall render them invalid. All original receipts and/or charge copies must be made available if requested by the Administrator. Contracts with Payment Plan Agreements; the total claim expense, including any Excessive Downtime Benefit, cannot exceed the amount paid in by You.
DISAPPEARING DEDUCTIBLE
When your truck is repaired by the Selling Dealer, you pay $0 deductible!
In the event of a covered breakdown, Truck Master Warranty will pay or reimburse for the parts and labor costs to repair or replace covered parts listed below (including replacement of all lost fluids), less applicable deductible, subject to the terms, conditions and limitations herein.
Replacement of any covered part may be made with new, remanufactured, rebuilt or like kind and quality parts at the discretion of the Administrator. Parts will be reimbursed up to the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. Labor time will be reimbursed using nationally recognized labor time standards. The maximum labor reimbursement rate is $175.00 per hour. You are responsible for any additional labor costs. Repair facilities are not required to reduce their published labor rates.
